Flag of the Neo-Incan Empire

This is the banner of the Neo-Incan Empire, a member of the Non-Aligned Committee (NAC) Sovereign in my "The World in..." series. This nation was established in the latter part of the series, before the year 3000. As shown on the flag's design, it is deeply proud of its heritage, showing the resilient legacy of Incan culture. The Neo-Incan Empire formed as a gradual political and trade union between South America's westernmost NAC nations. Its government consisted of an Emperor, aided by his ministers and Grand Shamans, with the imperial headquarters based in Cuzco. Throughout its existence, it engaged in hostilities with it's northern neighbour, the Latin People's Federation (LPF), and was at odds with South America's NASO members over territory as well.

These tensions blew over in the Seventh World War, as the lone South American NAC and White Faction member was bombarded heavily and lost much protecting itself during the long conflict, yet it would gain land in the largely-uninhabited regions of its NASO opponents. After WWVII ended, even though the trauma was more than apparent for them, the Neo-Incans made peace with the LPF and NASO in order to gain assistance in rebuilding their nation and set on plans to bring South America back to the world stage and avoid further war from happening again. It has seen many defining moments occur within its borders leading up until the year 3300.
