Flag of the German Confederacy

This is the banner of the German Confederacy, the strongest overseeing member of the European Committee, in my "Random World Concept" Map #2. After the EU collapsed and fell into a period of intercontinental war, the National Democratic Party of Germany and radicalized Freedom Party of Austria came to power in their respective nations' elections, then later decided to join together in a long, multi-process Anschluss into the new German Confederacy. The two political parties cut back to their best representatives and combined into the Germanic Strength and Rebirth Party (GSRP). The GSRP put in strict and thorough measures regarding political and economic issues upon society, thus cleaning away many Arab migrant ghettos and advertised family-planning and resettlement privileges for Germans living domestically and abroad as a means to repopulate German lands to more acceptable levels, and to pacify Europe for good.

When the rogue, fundamentalist Catholic Poland attacked the Germans in order to maintain their borders against the perceived threat of invasion, the former was more than willing to fight back. With the Poles eventually defeated, the new German state seized land across Poland right to the old stomping grounds of Danzig. Furthermore, the Germans oversaw the establishment of the new Visegrad Bloc against the increasingly-dangerous presence of Putinist Russia. Shortly after, the Germans founded the European Committee to gather more sovereign nations to remain as they are, though work together to bring in a new era of trade and stability, ensuring Europe's survival and comeback after decades of stagnation. Yet, their rival to the West, the Mediterranean Kingdom, resisted such efforts and declared war on the Germans to determine who would survive and direct Europe in the future.

This was an arrogant move however, since the Germans by then rallied most of Europe behind their cause, and the forces of this alliance was too much for the Mediterranean Kingdom to hold against. With the Mediterranean Kingdom's surrender and signing of the European Rebuild Treaty, the Germans seized a portion of land west of the Rhine and made a move to solidify their current borders and claim their legitimacy to Europe and the rest of the world. The communist Anglo-Saxons wanted nothing to due to with loose, decadent mainland squabbles between capitalists. It also disturbed the Russians deeply, since a stabilized and prepared Europe could prove a threat to their plans, and the sovereignty of Serbian Yugoslavia, an important Third Position Pact (TPP) satellite state. Several European nations, including the Germans, opened their doors to foreign powers in order to sanction trade and competed for Europe alone to reclaim the West, not the feared Trumperians.

Despite all of the Germans' work in order to keep themselves and Europe's other nations stable and secure, the European Committee has been split into two unofficial camps, nicknamed "West Street" and "East Street." For example, Hellenika draws closer to its TPP, Orthodox neighbours to the north, and has embarked on occasional skirmishes with the Turkish Technate, possibly bringing the threat of Trumperian action to the mix. With this in mind, another terrible inter-European War seems to loom on the horizon.
